Support Groups

Our support groups meet weekly in the Ministry Building, but some do take breaks during the holidays and summer. All groups are free and open to the community, with no registration required. Contact us for more information on any of these groups.

  • NEW! Single and Teen Moms Support Group
Wednesdays at 7pm (Begins Sept. 4)

This group is designed to be a haven for pregnant and parenting moms who are raising children alone or as teenagers. We want to offer a space for you to meet other moms in similar life circumstances and get connected with available resources and community support. Childcare is provided through children’s classes. Facilitator: Leigh Ann Sharp

  • New Beginnings: Spiritual Support for Recovery from Alcohol and Drugs Wednesdays at 7pm
Each week we look at and discuss a section of scripture which relates to one of the 12 steps of recovery. Our goal is to supplement and not compete with AA, NA or CA. We want to focus on Jesus as our higher power, but recognize that one day a week offers one caught in addiction very little support for recovery. Because of this, we encourage participants to attend a group specific for their problem, like AA for alcohol, and to get a sponsor and have them lead them through the steps, in addition to attending this group. Facilitator: Gerald Bendele

  • GriefShare Wednesdays at 7pm (Sept-May) - Begins Sept. 11
This group is intended for anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one, or who may be supporting someone else through loss. Facilitators: Ben Backor, DeAnna Graves, Kathy Ebbs
