The weeks leading up to Christmas can be a time to enjoy the vibrancy of anticipation, to know that something worth waiting for is coming, and yet to wait it out. God had promised a King. The prophets had foretold His story. In the Waiting for Jesus series, we will have the opportunity to read the words of the prophet Isaiah as he tells of the coming King. We will also explore the nativity story, ask questions about Jesus’ birthday, and celebrate the coming of Immanuel—God with us
