July 6th - August 3rd : Worship With Wonder

Worship the Lord with gladness. Come to him with songs of joy. —Psalm 100:2

What does it mean to really worship God? While worshiping through music and song may be the first thing that comes to mind when we consider worship, we’ll start this series by learning through the Shema, which means “hear,” that we can listen to God and worship Him with our whole selves. We’ll discover that we can worship unashamed with our whole hearts, explore how God is worthy of worship, and hold close the truth that God is with us when we worship. We’ll close the series by accepting God’s invitation to worship and celebrate Him as we learn about the Feast of Tabernacles. Throughout these five lessons, may we experience worship as an overflow of love and a response to who God is and what He has done.

July 6 - The Shema - Deuteronomy 6 - God Wants Us to Worship with Our Whole Selves
July 13 - David Worships God - 2 Samuel 6 - God Is Honored When We Worship with Our Whole Hearts
July 20 - A Psalm of Praise - Psalm 145 - God Is Worthy of Worship
July 27 - Jehoshaphat and the Singing Army - 2 Chronicles 20 - God Is with Us When We Worship
August 3 - Feast of Tabernacles - Leviticus 23 - God Invites Us to Worship and Celebrate
